Um homem foi vítima de linchamento no litoral de São Paulo devido a uma fake news

Um homem chamado Osil Vicente Guedes, de 49 anos, foi linchado até a morte após ser acusado falsamente de roubar uma moto em Guarujá, cidade localizada no litoral de São Paulo. Ele não possuía antecedentes criminais e era proprietário de uma empresa de reciclagem na região, deixando para trás um filho de nove anos.

Os agressores, munidos com um capacete e pedaços de madeira, o atacaram na rua após gritos de “pega ladrão”. No entanto, o dono da moto afirmou à Polícia Militar que conhecia Osil e havia emprestado o veículo para ele. A vítima foi levada para o Hospital Santo Amaro em Guarujá, mas faleceu devido aos ferimentos.

Osil residia na mesma localidade de sua empresa de reciclagem, situada na Avenida Acaraú, no bairro Vila Áurea, no distrito de Vicente de Carvalho, e era muito querido pelos vizinhos. Seu irmão já prestou depoimento sobre o incidente para a Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Estado de São Paulo (SSP-SP), mas não foram divulgadas mais informações sobre as investigações. 

O caso foi registrado inicialmente como “lesão corporal” no 2º Distrito Policial (DP) de Guarujá, mas posteriormente mudado para “homicídio” após a morte de Osil.
